Daly Realism has been working in 3D graphics for over 20 years. In the last 10 years, personal computers have been sufficiently powerful so that real-time, interactive 3D graphics can be done on the desk top.
The current ISO specification for 3D graphics is X3D. Leonard Daly and Don Brutzman have co-author the first X3D book X3D: Extensible 3D Graphics for Web Authors. The book describes how to create and use X3D content.
Over the years, Leonard Daly has given a number of presentations on X3D at various conferences and forums.
All of the original VRML examples have been translated to X3D.
