I learn best by examples, especially working ones. When I was first learning VRML, I didn't find many examples of VRML for what I wanted to do. Over the course of years, I have built a large number of worlds for projects and for teaching VRML. Throughout all of my work, I have found examples to be the best method of instruction.
I have collected a number of examples of my work that I have found particularly useful. I am in no way building a FAQ. I am dealing with problems that are generally more complex than that dealt with in a typical FAQ. Each example is available in its "virtual" form and plain text. Both forms are loaded into separate windows to make the display and saving easier. All of the work located from this page is copyrighted by the author.
At this time only the examples from the book X3D: Extensible 3D Graphics for Web Authors are available.
