X3D is the current standard for 3D graphics on the Web. It is an open standard in the sense that all of the standard documents are freely available and to the best of the sponsoring organization's knowledge, they are un-encumbered (aka royality-free). As the 3D graphics community continues to evolve, the standards are updated. This page contains links to all of the X3D standards. The ISO-approved documents are listed first, followed by the documents in the ISO approval process.
