Public Domain

You can do anything you want to public domain content; including modification, change license terms (on modified content), or use in a commercial setting.

Creative Commons with Attribution (CC BY)

The Creative Commons suite of licenses are developed by CreativeCommons.org. At a minimum these licenses require attribution to your source and any other attribution that is listed with the content. Creative Commons Sharealike (CC BY SA)
